The Midlife Woman
Honest thoughts on midlife, money, dating, confidence, and quietly losing the plot (and finding it again).

Get to Know The Midlife Woman
The Midlife Woman exists because midlife is often described in extremes. You’re either told everything is falling apart, or that this is the moment you reinvent yourself, find inner peace and buy better linen. Most of us live somewhere in between.
This is a space for writing about what life after fifty actually feels like — the practical bits, the emotional shifts, and the things that don’t fit neatly into a before-and-after story. The posts are shaped by lived experience and observation. Some are personal, some take a step back, but all are written with clarity, humour and a healthy suspicion of easy answers.
I write under a pen name on purpose. This isn’t a personal diary and it isn’t a performance. There’s no pressure here to overshare or turn real life into a brand. The focus is on ideas, shared experience and honest conversation.
If you’re interested in thoughtful, grounded writing about midlife as it actually unfolds, I’d love you to stay.
